In the tradition of making the bikes we want to ride, we are pleased to announce the new Revel Ranger!
The bike is designed to be enjoyed both uphill and downhill.We like Rascal, but we want a lighter and faster car.So we took the legendary CBF suspension platform to a place it had never been before.Imagine XC’s lightness, XC’s efficiency, and THE CBF’s bottomless impact.It weighs more than a pound less than the Rascal frame, and is tough enough to inspire confidence when going downhill.The bike can be ridden all day in the mountains at the start of a race, or simply on a local trail after work.
The rear stroke of Ranger is 115mm, the front stroke is 120mm, and the hub is 29ER.The head Angle is 67.5 degrees, and the seat Angle is 75.3 degrees.Coupled with a reasonable and modern distance and the number of chain racks, the car feels ridiculously balanced as it climbs, descends, and especially turns.
With the name Ranger, we had to turn at least one bike the colour of forest Green, aptly named Johnny Green Jeans.We also have a more permanent graphite black option, which we like to call "De La Coal".
The Ranger, like our other two bikes, has a fully encapsulated internal cable route and includes a rear shock lock route.The top and bottom of the lower pipe are supported by the kettle.We also added a set of mounting brackets to the font of the main triangle.The Ranger also has enough tyre clearance to fit on any 29X2.6 tyre.
Rangers can now be pre-purchased at Revel dealers and distributors or purchased directly from RevelBikes.com.A refundable deposit of $100 is required on pre-order, and the bikes will be shipped in the order of deposit.The bikes will start shipping in early July.
